This took all day
Well, not quite. But the site is not working very well right now, and this marks my umpteenth attempt to upload.

waiting, waiting waiting
well I'm glad it finally uploaded for you.

this has a movie soundtrack style to it. great track, the big build near the end really tops it off nicely.

I think so.
I found a bunch of interesting instruments in the World JamPack, so had to use some here. Thanks for listening, Vic.

The Waiting Room
Cinematic for sure. I was picturing a tense spy movie initially but when the acoustic guitar came in the mood changed to a more encouraging vibe. The song develops brilliantly. The super Panavision ending is epic. Thanks, all. Take care.

I like the ending too.
It's rather grand, and David splits into two to add the percussion. Thanks for the encouragement, Peter.

What?
No old magazines?!?! Ha ha...

Well... at least there are cool sounds to keep me occupied while I wait.

Hey, is this waiting room located somewhere in the Middle East?

Sort of
The bagpipe sound is Persian. I would have used Scottish or Northumberland pipes if the Logic versions existed or sounded okay. The Panjandrum in question could be from anywhere. Ta for listening, Micheal.

Cooking up another delightful casserole
Umpteenth attempt to upload? "The Waiting Room" then is certainly the right title for this rocker : )

I detect hints of the Middle East and a few dashes of some other exotic spices.

The music has been pouring out of you lately and it's all been delightfully different.

Thanks, Warren
There's a backlog too. I've been slowed down by pesky work of late, but it pays the bills which music does not, alas. We have two reggae numbers, six other new things and a lot of widows and orphans. I should open a home.

The Waiting Room
Wow....I really like this. The opening percussion and didgeridoo sounding low end with eastern melody... nicely pieced together. I think the acoustic guitar parts are well done. Nicely played revel. Great epic sounding piece

It's a Logic synth
and it's called Glacier or something. I chose the exotic sounds to see what I could do with them. It was fun, too. Ta for listening, Hounds.

This is great
Nice choice of sounds and the natural and synthetic textures.

And as others have already commented ... it ends well!

Cheers

Dick
