felt those toms in my chest; they totally drove the song for me. Everything about this says, "motion."

has a air of sophistication
this is great Tim!
I think Sam nailed the description about this "motion", even though I'm sitting still :)

Groove Thang
Without pitch challenge and mountains of reverb you have produced a rather clean and bouncy track. Bravo!
The mix is good, in the sense that each element has a place. The reverb used did work in the composition.
Here's three ideas that generate melody. Nursery rhythms, commercials and movie scores adapt to forms easily, experiment. The other method is to imagine a unique set of intervals and rhythmic figures and then build the resultant clockwork melody inside the track, like a lego project. Scat sing vowel sounds against the track and build up lines bit at a time.

Who needs lyrics when you play and mix like this. I found a lot of light and shade in this song. Many different moods. Bravo.

I like the smoothness of this track... all is equal. The bass end has a cool underlying groove along with the toms really drive this .... but in a subtle way. Very trippy. ambient with the keys and that catchy repetitive bridge

Yeah, the balance is the key. Almost ambient psychedelic as Stan points out. Great textures. Lovely warm mix. Thanks, Tim. Take care.

I like the basic idea of this track, but it feels a little, eh, unending to me. No real highs or lows, just continuous flow. If that's what you're going for it's a pretty good effort.
