Dark matters
Because without it there would be no light. And this piece is also full of light and sparkling hope (for the new year?). Very nice stuff with many of the MissChaos signature elements.

Thanks and take care,
Henke

perceptive
I'm reading an older sci-fi book right now and there's no doubt it influenced this piece!

My favorite feedback is always to hear "evocative". Thank you for this!

Thanks for the fantastically shimmery bedtime story, Mother Chaos! Enjoyed the electrified stomps and the morphing twinkly piano bits!!!

I like dark...
MissChaos,

... and some say I’m a little unstable (chaos-like? Myself). So no surprise, I like your fresh new 2019 tune.

haha!
I think most musicians would call ourselves unstable. It's the fuel for our art, right? Anyhow, us weirdos need to stick together. Great to "see" you here!

As I've said before...
This has great textures, some 'artificial' and some seeming more organic/natural, with a nice contrast between the deeper bass tones and the more tinkly piano bits on the top, and the swirly space synths in the middle. It also has a great sense of space, another Miss Chaos specialty...

Listening on headphones, there's a nice sense of being in the center of the compositional space, a very 3D vibe...

It's good to hear from you again...

I've missed ya, Ed!
Thanks for this. I've lost a bit of my confidence since putting my little hobby on the back burner. I appreciate this very much — gives me more reason to keep exploring. I hope all is well in your world. Been thinking about you original MJers a lot lately.

Always
You seem to consistently craft catchy pieces... I like how this one grows through the adding of elements in the beginning...when the piano comes in it really shifts and keeps shifting...wonderful. i love the ringy bell in the final minute. Thanks for the dl and sharing.

Seems I've missed a lot
This is a great little piece. I really like the way the percussion lives in two worlds...the muffled subdued background which emerges into brighter timbres.
