Happy, happy
Joy, joy. Logic gives you a vast array of orchestral sounds, so I've been exploring all the cool ones. And noticing the ones people have used on TV commercials. (Lots of plucked violin sounds.) There's a lot of uke abuse out there too. I'm getting off - topic. Thanks for listening, Ramona.

Marching Ants
Entertaining. I love the springy bass. I might have given the guitar that comes in shortly after the 2 minute mark a bit more punch? Other than that, all good!

You're right.
I hear that now. I emphasized the funky guitar from the first section, but I think this bit needs a boost. Thanks for pointing that out.

Creepy Crawly
Might be a bit harsh on the top end, had to turn the volume down just a bit. Well worth the effort. The groove here is fat and those ants are getting busy. The production is inspired, the bells and creepy synths work great. The bass line sits a bit then comes back back with double stops nicely. Well done!

Impressive!
So much going on.

From a barely perceptible it builds really nicely.

Mr McNair is very good isn't he?

Cheers

Yes!
So good, he's on twice - once as a drummer and second as a mad ant. Thanks for listening, Dick.

stellar drums!
It is so evident that you have a grasp of dynamics and cinematic build. I like this very much!

Agreed.
David and I have been working together since 2013 (how time flies) and our best stuff is the jazzy instrumental with tribal percussion added. It seems I can send him a weak, crappy idea, he does drums and it becomes A Thing. Conversely he will send some cool drum patterns and I am able to concoct something like this. We can also do more conventional stuff, like One -Eyed brain in a Jar. (Really!) Thanks for listening, Ms C.

Well those ants have some big boots!
Yeah, a pacy, racy kind of marching ant for sure, I hope they don't come to my house... This tune has a pace and sense of movement in it that would fit well into a movie sound track. It also has a lot of weight for something ant related — you been watching "Them!"?

Marching Ants
Good idea taking real drums riffs to give you a base to play with. I would say this has turned out quite successful. Ants are your creation> I like it .

Yes, and yes.
Check out my Tatertown Facebook page for more comic strips. David often sends some beats, and I find it surprisingly easy and very satisfactory to add music. We work best as instrumentalists, with David doing drums and percussion, and me doing the other stuff. It works with songs too, e.g: "Dog Me, Dogma", which was a train drums exercise david sent to me. Thanks for listening, Stan.
