good work
very nice piece,

Bob Dylans advice on writing songs was to sing as loud as you can, whatever comes into your mind again and again until something comes out of it. sing without fear.
backing vocals are great but you sound shy about your voice you shouldn't be.

having said that, the hesitant youthful voice in the left ear does have a certain charm! if that was what you were after of course please disregard the above!

Step 2
Well it a bit more commercial. How about the better backgrounds? That was well thought out and rendered in fine style, Air blend them some more!
Still want to tweak? Let the bass line drive the track until the vocal blends. I like the bass tone, might need more human touch? To get that buss the bass and add a pitch shift an octave below. Clean up the buss with eq and excite the results. To this bass sauce add drive and let the listener feel the line on their skin. This makes a huge difference on a track.
The lead vocal needs to auto tune. Why? The singer does not have breath control. Think about a pipe with air blowing through, like a horn or kazoo The more air pushed through the pipe the higher the pitch. Listen to the lead vocal push air through as the ends of his lines happen. The pitch goes up. If you don't want to auto tune yer gonna have to work to get better control of pitch. Listen to singers who have yer type of voice and take pointers...
