Lyrics
i knew a man once
he tells me he is dead now
he sold memphis
for just a dollar

he lived in a conch shell
on the heavy side of town
he knew the rhyme
but he changed the words

he glued his hair back on
for fear of being found out
he edited his past
cause his future is dried up

he lived in a conch shell
on the heavy side of town
he knew the rhyme
but he changed the words

i knew a man once
he tells me he is dead now
he loved to chase the dragon
for his kicks

with open mind
and bleeding heart
he reached for help
no one listened
i knew a man once
he sold memphis for a dollar
then he witnessed its decay

he is coming by for drinks about 3 oclock

It
was the unpredictability that did me in. Love the unexpected. You followed it so tightly, Freddy. Impressive.

Well
that was something else.

Great production and a wonderful spacy feel.

I have no idea hwta the lyrics are about but they made me sit up and take notice.

Great work.

Cheers

Whew! Could there be "too much" of "a good thing?"
I love the lyric and the idea, but, frankly, this presentation actually drove me away ... with so very many parts flying around, with so many different timings.   I couldn’t finish it.

But ... I love the lyric, the character, the idea.   What about a simpler presentation of the same ideas?
