Lyrics
walking down the back streets
on a razors edge of time
seeing all the street lights
as I shuffle through the line
faces are not friendly
as the wind cuts so cold
another night in the city
and things are getting old

and then I caught you staring
and I almost lost my mind
a vision to behold
as you turned and sipped your wine

our lives pass so quickly
and soon we will be gone
she explained with a smile
as she led me on
the night welcomed the daylight
as she surrendered to the dawn
like a dream in the morning
and suddenly she was gone

and then I caught you staring
and I almost lost my mind
a vision to behold
as you turned and sipped your wine

how are you recording your guitars?
you got a great tone there.....
I have been using Bioas FX, but recently got the Fortin Nameless suite, which feels just like a tube amp... same attack, spring, etc....
very fun tune! thank you for posting

I'm using a Marshall Superlead 100w with a Ibanez tube screamer, Xotic boost, Shure SM 57 mic and a vintage Fender strat. The Marshall cranked up pretty loud on input 2 jumped from input 1. I have a collection of vintage Marshall and Fender amps.

Hello Frank
Thanks for posting here. It's been a while but here you are...
The vocals much improved! Engineering/production on the vocals is commercial quality. You did a lot of work on this, it was something you needed to address, and you did- good for you.
The big guitar production sound... Who makes these type records in today's commercial music market? You do.
Wise mike placement reduced the pick noise on the attack, an improvement. Less pick noise is better; alternate picking technique always seems to produce too much noise... I would by contrast suggest some handling noise be added to your sound, something you would add like a sauce, this will establish more intimacy with the listener and help the solo breath. So I want less audible pick noise and more handling noise in your sound. Make sense? (VSTs don't have handling noise-yet.) You have licks to burn obviously but maybe a dose of the Joe Walsh maxum is in order?
