Much potential.
This is a cool tune. Really awesome live feel. Luv the line "it's a poor craftsman that blames his tool". If u could polish up the production quality it would help i think. R u taking the line out of a mixer?

Wow
I thought I comments and I look and no ....
This kicks and the drums would have kicked my head
completely wide open if you had a bit more fidelity on
this.

thanks for your nice comments guys
we basically are a 'live' band. a song like this was never written never played before this recording. we sorta spontaneously combust and out comes JOAN. all done in one take. how can we get better fidelity mungo?? we really don't know how to record 5 loud guys.

Heck if I know at my stage of development (I've only been doing this since
November). I'm still trying to get enough fidelity for myself, with one vocal
mic and one midi input. :)

You might try posting to the forum. Also, there are a couple of bands, "Grid
Stalker" and "Dead End", who have been working through the same issue.
I think "Dead End" made a recent break through from lo-fi to hi-fi in the last
month or so - you might try contacting those guys to see what they changed
in theor recording set-up. "Grid Stalker" has had pretty decent recordings
live, although some times the drums end up being muddy.

funny dead end
the reason we are on this site is because of dead end. mick(our guitarist/vocals/winemaker) is a friend of vince in dead end. so we have a 'real time' contact with them thanks mung

Cool. Say hi to them for me. We both came to MacJams the same week in
November. They've got a great sense of humor.

Awesome!
Great stuff! A bit out-of-synch at times, but hey, it sound
live and it is one take. Sound like Sonic Youth (guitars),
maybe even some early Nick Cave & Birthday Party, vocal
is a bit Velvet... This is totally awesome!!!

Like it
This is cool...parts of it remind me of Can circa 'Tago
Mago', the drumming mainly. Good groove and interesting
sounds fighting to be heard.. nice one

Cool
mix here Guys.
yes, need to do something on that production side. there
are some wonderful riffs and sounds going on here, which
I would like to hear a little more clearly.
Good vocals but they are quite high above the rest of the
mix.
