Premature Recapitulation

Description
Ha.. My entry in to the TUMi contest. Yeah, there's I think 4 different TUMi loops, including a string loop which you hear uncut at the beginning, then sliced and diced throughout the rest of the piece. The lyrics are gibberish so don't go psychoanalyzing them. And yes, that my opera-in-the-shower singing at the end (no, I wasn't in the shower when I recorded it though). A dark song indeed. Lemme know whatcha think. That includes you, Tanya.

This lil' ditty knocked me inna tizzy.
I be laffin!

Seriously, this was shuffly sweet like a waffly treet.
All the vocals be you?
Some of them in the middle sounded gravelly like a
blues singer. Such emotional range! It touched me
many different ways...

Ha!...thanks Stun. I been busy, but no so much now. Glad my piece could
suzzle your wuzzle. I'd love to pass it to you and let you go nuts remixing it,
but then I'd have to split the iPod shuffle with you. But seriously, I am back!

Do you spell it Catsup or Ketchup?

This is a strangely funky numer. Excellent production.

LOL
I'm a ketchup guy. Catsup is just silly. My niece used to call it "A-poo".

well- smack Stun's ass
Is it wrong that the lyrics made sense to me? Should I be
psycho-analyzed as a result?

Seriously fun song here and good way to use the loops.
Amazing what some of you guys can do with them.

Mustard!!
Would that be the spicy brown variety or the dijon or just good old yella?

Pretty cool use of the Tumi loops. I like the manic/rage feeling of this.

Good luck in the contest!

Music to watch a Blades game by
Alright--you've piqued my interest. Do I know you? The Blades, huh...Only a
fellow Saskabushian could make such a reference. Anyways, I'll take that as a
compliment. Dunno if it would have ben good enough for the STORM
though...

Ah, a hoopster. Actually, don't believe we've met. But I did work at the SP in
the late 80s-early 90s covering Blades, Storm, Riders, Huskies, even the
Speedy Creek Bs. And yes, it was intended as a compliment. The first thing
that popped into my mind listening to this tune was HNIC, strangely enough.
Then I checked your bio. But I could just see spotlights swirling as the
houselights went down and the music came up. Live SW of Senators now.
cheers

teehee...
Pooey, you always come up with the most unusual and
original stuff - but it always works! U take the mick out of
your vocals, but the opera shower singing is actually
pretty good. I definately saw the funny side of this whole
track tho...nicely done.

Downloaded! Favourite! And voted of course...

MADNESS
You're mad, Mustard Man.

Great track. Another brilliantly constructed track from the
PooMan.

And what about the versatility of the singing?!

Very clever, Pooey. Wonderfully quirky and infectious.

And the Pavaroti business at the end...you must have big
set of, um, speakers.
