Description
This song is from our band we had when used to play out. We were called "Fodder For The Gods." This song's about a guy I know who is truly the king of awkward conversation. He actually said all of the odd comments in this song.
Fodder For The Gods was:
Eric Richards: Lead guitar, Dave comments
Jay Rivenburgh: Drums
Mike Fuccilli: Bass
Vince Horan: Vocals

PS. Mick of the band "JOAN" knows Dave.

Lyrics
He stands 6'7 and he walks with a limp
They say he's a nice enough guy
But they can't stand him
He says his second home is at the gym
While chomping on a cucumber from his garden.

(You know the average life of a domestic cat in the wild is only three years)

Dave is the king of awkward conversation
I don't know what the hell he's saying
When he speaks your brain loses sensation
Cause Dave is the king of awkward conversation

Hey guys I got a question
Mick, you wouldn't know this
What would happen if the satellite was off
a little bit?

(You know, they should give away Hummers on the Price Is Right)

Dave is the king of awkward conversation
I don't know what they hell he's saying
When the girls reject him
He'll use his imagination
Cause Dave is the king of awkward
conversation

Tell me how you answer
With all those interjections
You feel like the Terminator robot
with all those answer options
Ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore

(Who do you think has better lobster, Maine or Canada?)

Chorus

His sh*t don't make sense
This sh*t don't make sense

You know I have a sixth sense for finding
Hot chicks
(Oh, you mean like a diving rod)

Chorus

I know this guy!
but then again doesn't everyone. I liked this very much!

You need to bring up the volume of the main vocals a little. Other than that the lyrics are awesome!

Not Dave?
Hey thanks for helping me document modern American
life. There is at least one Dave in everyone's life. And just
maybe a little Dave in each of us. Your band's sound
reminds me a little bit of early Kinks, lyric content too.
